The Red Flag

Our friends who live 2 doors down have had a little bit of trouble with the bin lorry crashing into the side of their barn and damaging the thatch. Bill has now fixed a red flag to the end of the barn, I presume as a warning to other drivers of large vehicles.

The summer has returned and they are predicting a heatwave this week. I’ve done some schoolwork and managed a couple of hours in the garden with my book.
Poppy and I had a Lidl adventure this afternoon and picked up some bits for her packed lunch tomorrow. She’s got a day at school. Yay!
