THE SADDLER

Well a day of equine activity.

Early doors we decided to groom and plait and generally pamper a certain young ladies horse followed by bare back riding in the school.

A civilised lunch was had and then it was off in the hunt for Extra Strong Mints for the GGZ and Sherbet Lemons for A ......... well would you believe it we couldn’t find any Lemon Sherbets locally. A lesser confectionary had to suffice.

Back to the yard we went in the nick of time for the arrival of the Saddler.

This was a first for both Miss A and myself and what a wonderful thing. She made both ‘A’ and the horse much more comfortable...

Bravo. I’ve found yet another way to spend money..............’beasts of burden’ I now fully understand.
