MonoMonday - Summer

Quick walk today after singing with community choir, and called down the village to post letters to friends in Australia and France.  Bit of banter in the post office as I haven’t seen S & R for 3 months!  Oops - a couple of bottles of wine seem to have been purchased whilst in there!  Called at the butcher’s, and as it was quiet had quite a chat with the lads in there too.  Then called to see friend H on the way home, and spent a while in her garden.  It was a bit dull, but temperature was showing 21 degrees, so very pleasant for sitting out. Then had to dash home as a delivery was due which I almost forgot about!  No inspiration for a “summer” blip whilst out, so off into the garden to try to find something.  To me roses mean summer, so back to the rosebush for a photo.  I’m not a fan of flowers in mono really, but needs must!  True colours in extras - this rose has been blipped many times, and probably will be again as it often flowers well into December.
