At some point between the midnight fire alarm (eventually discovered to be false), not getting back to sleep till gone 1am and the 6ish am wake up it rained lots. Enough to make "lagoons" in new places and for the burn to carve out a knee deep channel through the beach to make it an island again. 

Nice place to skim rocks and paddle while listening to "church". I've never been a fan of inside,  sit down, listen quietly church anyway, and work means i rarely get to the building through busy season anyway. But now they've embraced the new tech I think I'll find it pretty hard to  get back to Sunday morning 11am inside even if it's sunny!
