MonoMonday: An Untypically British Summer

Rolling grey meadows, a clear grey sky, black and white cattle grazing contentedly: this is the mono version of the summery British scenery we enjoyed with my sister and brother-in-law on a stroll across the fields from their house in Frome this afternoon. *

We walked through the copse of trees at the bottom of the hill and along the River Mells before heading back to their garden for a cup of tea and a slice of Victoria sponge.

This was the first time we'd been able to see them since February other than by face time, so it was good to catch up.

Apologies for lack of comments the last three days. Catch up tomorrow hopefully.

* The full colour summer version is in extras.
