Intriguing Entrance

On my walk today I appreciated this unmarked, but intriguing property entrance. It looked so inviting on the one hand, but so intimidating on the other. To have the steps on the outside of the gate makes you want to go up them and see where they lead. But then to have the closed gate at the top with no name, no number, no sign, makes you feel put off and excluded before you even take the first step - so I don't. Tantalising.
