Day 37

This was a great challenge: convey “summer” in mono. (Thank you). All the usual iconography i associate with summer is signified by colour: flowers, insects, blue skies, sunsets, beaches, ice cream..... hmm getting carried away.....

And I usually turn to mono for portraits or to create a moodiness I don’t associate with summer.

The best I could do was the long shadows of a summer evening and a nostalgic tint and frame. I’m sorry teddy’s shadow looks like the hound of the Baskerville rather than the excitable bundle of joy he actually is.... but still, we had lovely walk on the second longest day of the year.
