Amber is the New Green

.... certainly as far as coming out of lockdown is concerned!

After vegetating most of yesterday and this morning, I took myself out for a wander to the Polish deli in Gorgie this afternoon and stocked up on sausages and ham. In retrospect, I probably shouldn’t have also bought a big jar of gherkins that I then had to humph home. I was giving an old pair of shoes their first workout of the summer - big mistake that had me hirpling along well before I got to the deli but strangely enough the extra gherkin weight seemed to help. No blisters.
