Now you see it...

...now you don't, because we just had hours of heavy rain and wind and thunder. It cleared the air, but knocked over the hollyhocks that I'd meant to re-photograph this afternoon when the sun came around. So maybe this is it!

A bike ride (in the pre-storm humidity) and walk with Shelley left me a bit wimpy by the end of the day, but I enjoyed both. Grabbed a Starbucks drink and spent some goofy time with her looking through real estate listings. She's considering moving a bit farther west or northwest, into West Virginia or Pennsylvania. We also scrolled through some listings of overseas castles, great fun. Some work at home and then a new recipe at dinner for Paneer Tikka Masala.
