Lots of flowers on the Rosa glauca in the 'yard this year, cheerful even on a dull day!

And a day when sadness seems to pervade the air. So much doom and gloom in the news, and MrM doesn't help by announcing every so often that "the nights are drawing in"!
Maybe a news-free day is in order...
