Arch Rose

This rose grows on the wooden arch in our garden. Last year we did not have a single bloom as they all rooted as buds in the persistent damp and wet conditions. We lost the first few again this year in the last week or two, but now that the sun has returned we are being rewarded with these lovely flowers. 
My extra today is of an old shrub that was overgrown in the garden when we came. It has some heavy pruning in the last two years and most of the year has little to recommend it, but now it is covered in sweet scented blossoms. I think it has done enough to come off the endangered list.
