Purple Garden - taken against the sunlight - in extra.

This morning we began the job of tidying the front garden.  Merv came to see us and we gave him the job of trimming some of the shrubs with the new hedge-trimmer, which he quite liked (I thought he would).  We then had the job of sweeping up the clippings and the strands of creeper that the window cleaner took down.  It ended up being a bit too hot to complete the job, so we have another half days work on the other half.
