My Local Guide, 10 years Old

Cyril is the grandson of one of my walking ladies and he came with us to do the Grande Jumelle above Lac Tanay, 2150m, and a very challenging walk. He got to the top well before us two grannies. A fabulous peak to do as relatively few people climb it. One of the views behind, of the Cornettes de Bise in extra, shows just how much snow is still left. At altitude it snowed a lot this year.

Can’t believe how many people really liked yesterday’s view especially as I took the shot on the run to catch the mountain train. I did not fancy having to wait in the cold for an hour if I had missed it. Thank you all for placing it on the front Popular Page.
