Having just listened to our prime minister I am thinking that perhaps we will be able to look after Young Arthur when his mum returns to work .
We had gathered all the paraphernalia required ( see Blip ),I had handed in my notice at work and then at the very last minute ....... a pandemic!
However, he had just hit a stage of getting upset about his mummy being out of sight, even for a moment, and Jess was dreading leaving him, so these extra 3 months have been a real blessing for them both ,plus it’s given me time to adjust after so many years of every moment being accounted for . As H.D pointed out, my life had been pretty much directed since the age of 4 when I started school . It’s been useful to have time to get my head around having all this freedom, albeit against the backdrop of Covid 19.
In other news , the sun has finally returned , but late in the day , we are hoping it shows up earlier tomorrow as we will be spending quite a few hours in a certain garden in Chesterfield.
