Bathed in light
We were back in Mercato this afternoon - to meet up with a lady in the food court. We've been here a few times recently, but today is the first time in months that we went up the escalator. I love this view, especially in the day time.
So, G & I decided to have a quick lunch before our meeting. We shared a pizza and then had McDonald's ice creams. Petra, the lady we were meeting up with, messaged to ask if we could meet her where she was - at the home of a mutual friend, so we did just that. It was good to see Anna again after ages. The conversation was inevitably about the pandemic and its awful effects on the economy etc. The next few weeks will reveal its true impact as schools close for the summer.
I couldn't help feeling overwhelmed when I got home. Fortunately, there were things to do like search for songs for this week's Fun Club lesson (Joshua and the Walls of Jericho) and my blip to do. I have been reminded I am coming up to my 3000th in a couple of days. Time will tell if this has been time well spent or not. GK over and out. :)
PS. (Late addition)
Whilst browsing for songs, I came across this gem... All the Nokia phones ever made since 1982. Brilliant! You might spot one or two handsets you owned at one time! ;) (I spotted several)
