Feeling the heat

Just what you need on a scorcher like today. Bit of a cheat because this was taken on Sunday evening after our Turkish meal in the garden.

Four of the lunching ladies popped in today for a convivial cuppa in the garden again.  The remains of the two birthday cakes were partaken and the leftovers taken home by one of them to share with her daughter.  
Two more bunches of flowers.  I have now run out of big vases!

Looking forward to the new 'Talking Heads' series starting tonight.

Also defrosting the freezer - shouldn't tak long in this weather.

In other news, No2 grandson was made redundant today.  He was expecting it, but still not good.
