Beautiful evening

This evening we needed to help our daughter move a bike across the island  as we have a large car. On the way back we came through town where the evening light was lovely. Town was active, people fishing from piers and the lighthouse, a yacht race was in full flow, many powerboats were out enjoying the warm evening and there were diners out on the yacht club veranda enjoying the warm evening. We watched a group of boys leaping off the high sea wall by the castle whilst the gulls soared overhead watching the fishermen. The harbour is very quiet without the visiting yachts and we suspect that this season there will be none coming even if the borders open.
