Empty nest

As I headed out for garden circuits I spotted this on the lawn. It wasn’t really near any trees or shrubs so not entirely sure how it made it’s way there.  Hope it had served it’s purpose and any little bird family had outgrown it.

In the extra are a load of starlings enjoy the breakfast of dried mealworms.

It was a scorcher of a day and looks like we are in for a few more extra sunny days - best get the sun tan lotion out ready for plodding about. I have a half day planned tomorrow so hopefully the nice weather will means lots of lovely garden crochet time (scrap blanket is still on the go) accompanied by my audiobook. I just received my latest Audible credit too, so can enjoy browsing for the next one.
