Beside Still Waters

I made it out for an early morning walk before the heat.  It is supposed to be over 100 deg. F today.  But as I started my walk my mind was full of all the things I needed to do and fretting over some details.  But as I walked along this lonely trail beside the calm waters of this canal, it soothed my soul.  It was exactly what I needed.
