Another cold, wet and miserable day - I even had to put the fire on in the conservatory. I heard from our self catering cottage in Orkney today to say that they can still accommodate us in August but they now have to have a 3-day break between visitors to clean down so could we change our dates slightly (or she’ll rebook us for 2021), haven’t decided yet.

In other news my soap-making empire has crashed before even beginning. Turns out to sell any homemade products that come into contact with the skin you need a safety certificate for every single recipe at a cost of between £100-£200 each. Definitely not viable so back to making them for fun/gifts. I did however discover that I can sell my candles and room fragrances without certification.
