Getting Ready for the Harvest

Today's Tiny Tuesday Challenge, set by trisharoon, called for something metal. So I searched the shop (i.e. my 1/12th scale model Doll's House shop) and dug out this pair of steam ploughing engines.  The engines are scaled for a model railway N gauge, but at 1/148th scale are close enough to represent doll's house "doll's house" models (1/144th scale or 1 inch to 12 feet!)

The engines are made of white metal,  and in keeping with the completeness of most of my models, only one engine is painted (and clearly needs a repaint).  I made the cottage from a kit in the same scale a few years back.
