Toots Nature Quests

"Look, look", I cried to the Learned man,
"See what I've found! I have no idea what they are. Aren't they wonderful. I looked to see if there was a tree they may have fallen from but there were none in sight. Or a plant perhaps, but again there were none around that bore such marvels. What do you think they could be?"
A grunt issued from the Learned one which translates roughly to my ears as, Yes, how very nice dear. I went on regardless with my usual tittle prattle,
"When I first saw them I thought someone must have thrown some peanuts from their car, but they're certainly not peanuts. What do you think they are? I wouldn't know where to begin looking them up on Google, are they from a plant, are they from a tree? They are so ovoid and incredibly light. Oh I do think they are beautiful. Sorry to interrupt your reading there" (his head was encased in a book) "but do have a look!"
He lifted his eyes to my hand and then with a long pause and careful study, he went on to inform me,
"It's the poo from Hares!” said he.
