Puddle bubble

Yippee........ we got some rain today, it has been a very long two or three weeks since our last bout of rain, with very high temperatures, most days being over 30 Celsius, with some 40+ days too. Too hot!!! The paddocks have browned off so this rain is very welcome. When I checked my rain gauge early this evening we had 78 mm fall since the early hours of this morning. The river has breached the shingle barrier that was put up for the river repair job. Oh dear, they will have to wait until the rain stops, and river drops before they can get back out to fix it.
