Window

Up early - MrRoly has to be in Redruth for 6am so got up at 5! I dozed until the alarm went off at 7.30 and was up, showered and dressed before 8 for the first time in ages.

Being a lovely mum ;-) I made fried egg butties for everyone’s breakfasts to get the kitchen clear before the window fitters arrived - only they were early. Then off to the new school run, the walk there is the same but we had to arrive in a 10mjnute window after the other yr6 class had gone in and before Smallest’s scheduled start!

Anyway, the window is in - a proper opening and closing window. It’s a bit of a novelty in our kitchen :-D. It was meant to be the start of the kitchen refurb but that’s all delayed for the foreseeable. But I don’t card because I have a window that opens and closes.

Oh and MrRoly has a good first shift, his colleagues all seem friendly and the time passed quickly. It’s just the early starts he’s not keen on...
