I took the photo anyway and got permission to post it despite the messy hair. It looks fine. This photo was taken with an old lens that I have been fooling around with: a Leitz Summitar 50mm f/2. It was made in 1950 which makes it a venerable 62 years old. And it still makes a great photo. Respect the elders.
