Up early is to prepare for the day, and a series of varied meetings which all went well...my equanimity is returning! Had a thing cancelled in the afternoon so did some reading and catch up although my back’s still a problem so can’t sit too long.
Popped in to the feedback session after J’s viva....she passed! Great news...it’s been quite a long slog for her, with a chunk of part time working, but delighted she’s through. The three of us stayed online to chat afterwards then, given it was such a beautiful day I headed down to Portobello for a long walk along the shoreline. Found some more of the jellyfish on the sand that look like eyes....years ago that I first found them on the beach with A and O when they were visiting one August. Lots of people swimming and having BBQs....I stretched to a magnum ice cream! Really busy but people keeping in household groups and everyone just really happy and enjoying the glorious day. Perfect 24 degrees. Home via supermarket to pick up some supplies for dessert for tomorrow evening. Very excited at the prospect of a sociable supper!
