sounds like an excellent plan..

..Australia is the 'Land of the Grey Nomad' (also known as Snow Geese) and I have seen similar on vehicles and caravans (great and small) around the country.

In the west, many travel to escape north for the beautiful and pleasant 'dry season', leaving behind the cold winter.
The reverse happens for the summer, traveling back south to
leave the cyclones and humidity for the drier, summer heat. Not so anymore as we continue to swelter in heat and humidity.

Having said that though,I do love a road trip at any time of year, packing up the 'truck' and heading off into a wild and blue yonder.
Now, where did I put those car keys??
