Rosemary Beetle
When I was taking a photo of a bee on a thistle during my lunch break, a lady talked to me, "are you into insects?". I said, "Yeah kind of. I'm more into birds though". She said she is a member of the Edinburgh Natural History Society and recommended me to join. It might be an idea. Then she kindly took me to rosemary plants on which there are many beautiful beetles.
I went there again today and there are a lot of rosemary beetles. Actually I guess some parts were damaged by them... knew this rosemary beetle is not native in the UK.
