Scorching

Wow, what a warm one. We headed out this morning for a bit of pick your own fruit. We returned with some fabulous strawberries and raspberries, so much nicer than the usual supermarket fare. 

After lunch we visited Ascott House. Another National Trust property this one is less than 30 minutes from us but we'd never previously visited. The gardens were looking very fine and although we couldn't go in the house, we could see it was a grand property and definitely worth a return visit in the future. More photos here.

We played a live online escape room this evening with Annie's brother and partner. It was a challenging one and we used a good chunk of the allocated 90 minutes but still cracked it.
