My daughter, FirehorseMia, has lost a very dear friend, her old business partner, after a long illness. She was a courageous woman, wife, mother, and multitalented artist. Son and I made a rushed trip to Christchurch to spend an hour or so with Mia before the funeral. The rain was constant.
