Gone Banksy

After Saturday’s Banksyesque (thanks for the adjective freespiral) piece of street art, I wondered if he’d ever been to Sydney. Turns out he was in Australia back in 2003, but seems to have preferred Melbourne where they still occasionally destroy a rat stencil during construction work. But he also visited Sydney and created at least one piece of street art - the Diver - on the side wall of our local organic food co-op (it was in the bottom right corner). It faded over time, was sprayed over and finally replaced with a Council-sanctioned work.
