Green city in the sun

Nairobi used to be the Green City in the Sun. Alas, sadly we've chopped down a lot of the trees that paved the highway and now the name Concrete City in the sun is more fitting.

Today, on my way back from a meeting I was stuck in traffic and sat admiring one of the last parcels of land in the city with tall eucalyptus trees in upper hill. I would have loved to walk in and enjoy the shade. But the office beckons.
