Distant song

I wrapped up well and went into the garden for my blip. It was sunny but there is a bitterly cold wind.
The garden yielded no blips. There were snowdrops but they're not so special any more. I've already done the hellebores. There's no sign of any crocus yet. I was on the point of doing an indoor blip when the incessant sweet song of my companion in the garden, a robin, attracted my attention. It had followed me wherever I went. Everybody else blips robins, so I thought "why shouldn't I?" The robin, however, had a different idea, preferring to be on a high branch to continue his joyous sound, and even my telephoto couldn't lure him any closer!
