Feed time.....

Despite the presence of wee Minnie these chaps were hungry enough to make an assault on the fruit I've put in a tree.  I'm pretty sure Minnie could never reach the birds but I'm still a bit concerned.  How to feed the birds in winter was always going to be an issue once I decided to adopt another cat.  The next issue will be how to protect the youngsters who love to worm hunt in spring......

In COVID news, we've had 3 new cases today and 1 recovery bringing our active case total up to 13.  The negative comments are growing and I've read some very disparaging comments from some about those who are returning.  It's not a simple 'one solution fits all' situation.  As Jacinda has repeatedly called on us......let's be kind.  We're all in this together but none of us bring the same backstory.  Let's not judge........let's think the best not the worst and let's stay united against that one common, viral enemy.
