a much better day, the sun makes such a difference. it was so hot in the garden and I got dressed for the first time in a week. mum came round with avacados and pancakes for us all and stayed for a while. I passed the time making a tea light jar with leftover petals from flowers I had been sent. the jar looked nice and really lovely at night with the candle in it. the girls were entertaining as usual and we played a game after tea with the fire bowl on. found out today that peggy was officially accepted to her girls in energy course and daisy got into her two day textiles course at college. I’m so chuffed, she’ll be going into college two afternoons a week out of school to learn about textile design and how to make a garment. it’ll be distance learning until 30th oct which suits us all too.
