At Saughton Park

What a wonderfully hot day!
I was at the work allotment early this morning to get the watering done before it got too warm.  Then I did some volunteer gardening at this beautiful park close to my home.  This has been our first volunteer group since lockdown.  
This is a picture of the rose garden but I volunteer at the physic garden which has a lot of weeds!  This section of the park was closed over lock down but it has been fine with the help of the 2 park gardeners and some self-sufficient plants.
The new park cafe opened this week which has been exciting for everyone.
