Once was allotments

This area of grass is alongside the cemetery in Chobham. Until 3 years  or so ago it was used for allotments but then it was decided that more burial space was needed. As yet,  no graves have been dug this side of the hedge. We had an allotment here and were quite successful with vegetables. There was also a very abundant blackberry bush which we have successfully transplanted to our new allotment in the splendidly named Carthouse Lane.
