Summer's here and the time is right

for a nice cooling swim drink. I became heartily sick of ice-cube trays when I lived in Greece. Because you have to wait for the whole tray to freeze before you can access the ice-cubes, you need a great many trays. Stacking them level is a nightmare, but if you don't do that the freezer becomes uneven with frozen spillages.

And then I found these; reusable water-filled plastic divers. Brilliant! Even as they thaw they do not dilute your drink, and were they to spring a leak they would dilute your drink but not poison you in the way that the concoction inside freezer blocks would. I have a set of eight in four different colours and they are all called Jacques. The camera seemed to get on best with Yellow Jacques.
