Flamingos

Yesterday I went to the border with Germany. I parked in the Netherlands and walked into Germany to an area known for it's population of flamingos. The walk was circling the water where they were. Alas, it was circling it far out. So for the most part I saw nothing but woodland and farmland... But then, finally, there they were! A bit far away, but still. Awesome to see!

And so I've been abroad this vacation. ;-)
