Apricot pavlova

After work today Ridgeback13 joined us for a barbecue of sweet chilli chicken skewers, salmon, baked halloumi cheese, and salad - and this amazing apricot pavlova contributed by our guest herself. It's been another lovely warm day In Edinburgh, and we thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening sitting outside eating with our friend. The icing on the cake for me was to slaughter Mr hazelh at Carcassonne [the game - not the place!] after dinner :-)

We also took advantage of the fine summer weather earlier in the day with a lunchtime bike ride along the Forth to Cramond.

We made some good progress on a funding bid this morning in a meeting with our project partners and through the recruitment of a new member to our team.

Exercise today: cycling (13 miles solo).
