Octopus

It has been a very hot day today, 30c apparently. Doing cricket and rounders in the sun today was quite a tall order. Even the usually effervescent children, soon lost their fizz!
I took Charlie and some friends to another friends’ house this evening. They live in a rather ‘posh’ of the island and their house has the most amazing views over the other islands.
This blip shows a lovely local restaurant, Octopus. It too has great views over Havelet and Castle Cornet. We’ve been expecting a storm this evening, but I’ve only heard one rumble so far.
