Nurse Amy , Exmoor

As it was far too hot to do anything useful in the garden, we escaped to Exmoor . We ending up picnic ing at Horner then calling at Porlock for Miles Tea coffee and hot chocolate - presents for my niece’s husband’s birthday. 
Then along the coast to Lynmouth so we could sit by the River and soak our feet ! Bliss ! 

We also managed a game of putting because we wanted to support the young man in his 20s who has bought the lease and is obviously having a tough time with the Lockdown effect .

On the way home, I took this photo of a sculpture which a local welder made and put up at Wheddon Cross as a tribute to the NHS . It’s brilliant.
