Abutilon

This plant is growing in Moira’s garden. She has done an amazing job in the garden which a year ago was a completely blank canvas! We went round for a couple of hours this afternoon and enjoyed a chat over tea and scones. She lives just a mile away but I decided to leave early and take the coast road and give the car a good run. It should have taken about 15-20 minutes. I have never seen our roads so full of parked cars and traffic jams. The whole coast road from Littlestone to Dungeness was slammed, and the beaches had more people than ever enjoying the fabulous day. The journey took 50 minutes! 

We had planned to drive further down the coast tomorrow just for a ride and to sit a while on a different beach, but seeing the crowds and impossible parking today, have decided to leave it for another day.
