A gem

I know I've often talked about how wonderful Doug, my brother-in-law, is and how willing he is to help me out.  Today, at short notice, he drove me to not one but two pharmacies to pick up prescriptions.  I am so happy he is part of the family.

On the way back from the first shop, we headed west downhill to an arterial and this was the view ahead of us when we stopped at a traffic light.  The white along the top of the photo is snow on the mountains, and that is Puget Sound in Edmonds.  I'm hoping that I'll be able to drive again, so I can once again go up to the area where I lived for 17 years and which has such beautiful scenic views.
