Winter Flame

Went for a quick walk round Redhall Walled Garden's plant nursery today. I didn't stay long as it is so cold! I was attracted by this Cornus sanuinea or Dogwood. Its brillant red branches give a good splash of colour in the depth of winter.
I think I might go back and get some for the allotment.
