Day 97 Hope

30 years of waiting finally over for Liverpool as they won the league again after Man City lost to Chelsea. Kieran was jumping for joy, Matt was happy about Chelsea's win but not about Liverpool's victory and Chris was disappointed that City didn't manage to snatch victory from Liverpool again. He was pleased for Kieran as he remembers how he felt when City finally managed to win it all those years ago. It's been a nerve-wracking time for Kieran as he waited to find out if the league was going to continue when the pandemic hit.
The weather was boiling hot today. We haven't been for a walk for 2 days as Chris has been going to his parents to spend time with his dad after work each day. I cut the lawns to do some exercise and the sweat was dripping off me when I'd finished.
In the news, 149 deaths today. Thousands of people went to beaches and hundreds of Liverpool fans flocked to Anfield to celebrate. The government warned that we need to take more care or we'll have more cases of coronavirus like in other countries who have had to enforce new, localised lockdowns.
