Off to new beginnings

Humboldt-University, Berlin

Last autumn, I decided to stick to the path of life-long learning and to go back to university to become a secondary teacher for English and French. Since I already have a Master's degree in Interpreting and Translating and have lived in France and Britain for a total of pretty much 15 years, I thought the German uni would cut me some slack and reduce my study time a little bit. But no. After many visits to different people "in charge", it turns out I have to pretty much do the entire course. Which will take 4 years. God, how I hate bureaucratic systems. The building is nice though (more from the outside than the inside however...).
