Now, generally I'm in favour of new technology, but sometimes it's nice to see the old guard getting their revenge...
In our nice new building at work we have these zip taps for instance hot water. Kettles were banned on health and safety (and one suspects, non-sexiness) grounds when we moved in. The problem is the zip taps produce funny tasting water and are broken half the time, which has meant the trusty old kettle has been brought out of retirement to fulfil our hot beverage needs.
Who's laughing now, mr zip tap?
