Compton Verney

There was thunder forecast for this afternoon so we decided to get out for a drive this morning whilst it was still nice. In fact it stayed very warm and dry all day, with just a far away rumble around three.

We went to Compton Verney. They've opened up the reception building now so maybe they'll be opening fully soon, not just the grounds, we may even be able to get a take-away coffee!

We had a nice walk round, there were not too many people there, and I took some photos.  Looking back at the many pics I've blipped from here I don't think I've actually posted one of the main building,  so here is the rear of Compton Verney looking across the wild flower meadow.  The building to the left is the still closed cafe.
