A morning indoors, afternoon in the garden (working) and after tea I decided to see how busy it was at Waterhead. I drove there as the car park is free after 6 o'clock.  I didn’t expect it to be almost full. Across the road by the lake there were picnics, barbecues, chairs and tents. Activity in and on the water too with canoes, paddle boards and swimmers.

My neighbour came to chat while I was trimming the outside of the garden hedge. A friendly conversation with no further criticism about feeding the birds or anything else!
